Manufacturing Process

GB steel conduits are manufactured from Mild Steel Flat strips made from Low Carbon tested steel The strip passes through a series of drive forming and fin rolls and takes the required circular shape and is welded continuously by passage of an electric current of high frequency induction weilding system.

The tubes thus formed and welded pass through the sizing sections where dimensional deviations if any are corrected before the tubes are cut into required length by automatic cutting machines. The tubes are then end deburred and threading is done by automatic Lanco machines to ease the fitting of all conduit accessories Thereafter protective coating  of stove enamelled is done on the inside and outside surface of steel conduits to protect from corossion and external influences.
